The Carnival Liberty

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas

This was the ship I lived on for a week. In this ship, I outran a hurricane, conquered a water slide, ate frog legs and was awarded a metal for dancing around in a toilet paper wedding dress. It was fantastic.

Photo Within a Photo

I was relaxing on the beach and just wanted to take a picture of the colorful sails. Thankfully, I caught the two people at the very bottom. Niiiice.

Sea Glass

The ocean always looked grey or dark blue off the coast of my native New England. So being able to see water this color is especially nice.

Caribbean Cruise

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas

Mom and I went on a cruise the same time that Hurricane Irene decided to also visit the Caribbean. Since Irene was so much bigger and bossier than our ship, we only saw half our intended destinations. This was at our first stop in the Bahamas. We decided to take a bike tour excursion of the island and later we relaxed on the beach. Isn't that water such an amazing color?

Wafting

That's not just any bird, that's a bird native to the Bahamas. And that's not just any sky, that's the clear blue celestial dome that exists over Half Moon Cay. (And most impressively, I took this picture while riding a bike.)

PS- I highly recommend doing any bike-related activity where ever you are in the world. It's good times.

Video Series - Julian Smith

"Jellyfish"

This is Julian Smith as Jeffery warning all of us about the dangers of not speaking clearly. Also, this song is a little bit stuck in my head.
