Asbury Park

Asbury Park, where I took this picture, is a shore town with a boardwalk and the site of the music festival Bamboozle. On a related note, did you know that you are charged to go onto the beach? YOU HAVE TO PAY TO GET ON THE BEACH!!! I was so stunned by this fact, I spent the first hour on the boardwalk being outraged and arguing about how unfair this was with my NJ-born boyfriend. He was resigned to it, but I thought it was (one of) the craziest things I've ever heard.

Only in New Jersey.

Irene Waves Goodbye

A rainbow is an optical and meteorological phenomenon that causes a spectrum of light to appear in the sky when the sun shines on to droplets of moisture in the Earth's atmosphere. Wikipedia had the best definition.

Sunset

We never lacked for spectacular sunsets. This was thru the cabin window which was had spots and some scratches on it. I like this one because of the light shining on the water. On deck, it looked like this:And a little bit later, like this:

You better believe I took a million more of these. Awesome.

Wafting

That's not just any bird, that's a bird native to the Bahamas. And that's not just any sky, that's the clear blue celestial dome that exists over Half Moon Cay. (And most impressively, I took this picture while riding a bike.)

PS- I highly recommend doing any bike-related activity where ever you are in the world. It's good times.
