I posted a self-portrait that showed my whole face, but then I took it down after only a few minutes. I looked thru my blog to see how many pictures there are of me (there are about 10) and in all of them my face is mostly obscured or turned away (barring this one, which was a struggle for me to post). I like the notion that I can be somewhat anonymous, or at least pretend to be.
I'm sure there's an entire discussion here about self-portraiture, the amount of overlap of the artist and their work and ego (and of course a whole lot of other things) but I shall leave that to you. Conclude what you will!
