When was the last time you cracked open your desktop computer and cleaned out the inside? How about 6 years? That is the amount of dust you see collected on the fans and inside of my computer. Six years of sucking in dust and having it hang out on wires, fans and the other mysterious junk that compose the guts of a eMachine. (Yes, I own an eMachine)

The Chestnut Challenge

My brother Adam and I decided to add a little bit of a challenge to our summer this year. Joey Chestnut currently holds the world record in competitive eating for most hot dogs consumed in 10 minutes: 68. In 2009 he set this record at Nathan's hot dog eating contest on Coney Island. Adam and I will attempt to match this record starting now and ending Sept 1st. Follow our progress on our blog, The Chestnut Challenge.

NYC City Streets

What on earth does all that spray paint mean?! Was someone bored and decided to decorate or is that official?

Millions of BEADS

My friend Danielle and I planned a day trip to NYC to look at art and be tourists. We walked about 100 blocks while we were there and spent a chunk of time perusing these 4 bead shops that were right next to each other. Behold the beads!


Also, my camera's batteries had zero juice so I stuck my memory card into her Canon and took pictures that way.

Le Chien

I can't help it. He's just so darn cute. He also does not complain about being photographed endlessly.

Change

My brother emptied out his jar of change and cashed it out. This is what $60 in quarters looks like.

Recently visited the park near my house. It's pretty there and has a nice big field behind the playground. That's where I saw these clouds.
