Dreams
I had a dream about my Grandma this morning. She was happy and talking to me and I had a sense that she was glad to be free. When I woke up I was sad but unsurprised to find out she had passed away during the night.
Love you, Grandma.

Funny Joke
I was surfing the net and came across this gem. For some reason, I thought this was the funniest joke I had heard in a long time:
So of course I wrote it down to tell everyone. And everyone I told it to already knew it. I still laughed anyway.

High Fives!
This is a shed at the baseball fields by our house. Those hand prints are just dirt as far as I can tell but they've been there for a while.

Storm Sky II
Same day as Storm Sky, different angle. I didn't edit this at all-- this is how orange the sky really was.

Tappan Zee Bridge
At first when I took this picture I thought, "crap! messed it up" then took another one before just shutting off my camera. Then I looked at it on the computer and I thought to myself, "hmm, maybe this is not such a crap picture." I think it looks better up close than teeny tiny, so click on it to see a HUGE version!

The Summit of Mt. Washington
We took the Cog Railway up to the top of Mt. Washington. It was overcast at the bottom but got steadily worse as we chugged up into the clouds and rain and WIND! This is at the observation deck, where the visibility was just yards. It was creepy to know that I was at the highest point in New Hampshire and unable to see anything at all.

My Peppers!!
This is the single most successful plant I raised this summer--from a seed! As you can see there are 7 chili peppers on the plant at this point in time. Later, 5 of the 8 peppers that were growing were ripped off the plant by some movers which upset me a little bit. It's ok! This plant just keeps making peppers!

Night Traffic
I cropped this picture and entered it into a photo contest for the artistic/edited category, didn't win -- anything -- again this year. I didn't spend as much time going over my "portfolio" and selecting pictures this year since last year's winners were so terrible (in my opinion). So I quickly picked my entries and submitted them at the last second and was MUCH less let down this year. I still think this is a cool pic; it's in VA and you can see the Golden Corral sign just to the right of the center.
