Enter the Multiverse
The tunnel connecting the art galleries in Washington DC. It was like blasting off into and traveling thru outer space. We were on a pretty slow moving sidewalk and the lights on the walls and ceiling blinked and zoomed around us. It was created by artist Leo Villareal.

Art Rocks
Interior of the East building of the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC. This place was pretty interesting, the little of it I was able to see. It houses some crazy modern art.

Vortex, Squirrel of Destruction
I caught this little guy single-handed, at 6:30 a.m. one Saturday morning. Vortex (as I named him), was making a nest in the wall of the house, chewing on some pipes and wreaking havoc in the basement for about a week. Finally, enough became enough and this trap had to be set (with delicious peanut butter as bait). The morning I caught him, I went with murderous intent down to the basement after he woke me up with some particularly loud pipe banging. I crept near the trap and suddenly, Vortex bounced out of the shadows, oblivious to my presence. I froze. Completely ignoring me, he spied the peanut butter, which did it's job beautifully by luring the monstrous squirrel into the trap. For a wild second, I contemplated how I would trip the trap if Vortex didn't, but then it banged shut and Vortex was mine!
So, though I did more watching than wrangling, I still like to think it was due to my special powers that the squirrel got into the trap. He was loaded up and taken to a nice woodsy area where hopefully he made some new friends and a new (non-house) nest.
